Starburst in Leominster has been rescheduled for August 7. From their site:
Starburst Leominster’s Summer Celebration
Starburst has rescheduled for Saturday,August 7th.
Construction at Doyle will require us to use the upper field for the concert. (Fireworks will be set off at tennis courts) Priest Street will be closed to thru traffic from noon onward on the 7th. Entrance to the field will be at the iron gate by the track, on Green Street, and on Grand Street.
Gates open at 4:30 pm
Starburst Band will begin at 7:00 pm.
Fireworks will be launched at 9:00 pm.
Or how about a Full Moon Hike on Saturday, July 24?
South Monoosnoc Overlook (7:00 -9:00 p.m.)Dick O’Brien will lead the hike beginning at the Granite St. trailhead to the South MonoosnocOverlook. Meet at 7:00 p.m. at the L.H.S. flag pole entrance parking lot.
Hikes are free, at your own risk Please call the Recreation Department office for an update at 978-534-7529, and to let them know if you are interested. More hikes with a Leominster MA start point can be found here.
