
Godspell, with its modern interpretation of the life of Jesus based on the gospel according to Matthew, will be coming to Fitchburg, MA. St. Bernard’s High School, 45 Harvard St., Fitchburg will be performing its interpretation of the Broadway classic on April 30 and May 1:
Drawing from various theatrical traditions, such as clowning, pantomime, charades and vaudeville, “Godspell” is a groundbreaking and unique reflection on the life of Jesus, with a message of kindness, tolerance and love.
Directed by Bob Healy, with choreography by Nicole Couture. Performances will be held April 30 and May 1 at 7:30 p.m., at the school, 45 Harvard St., Fitchburg. A matinee performance will be held on May 2 at 2 p.m. and will be free to senior citizens. For tickets, please call (978) 342-3212.
